Where Mirae fits
Mirae lets a patient type or use a photo to record symptoms, food, medicines, emotions, questions and laboratory markers. Supported wearable data and available records through HealthEx can add sleep, heart rate and medical history.
The aim is to reduce avoidable time on the path from first symptoms or a meaningful change to remission. Mirae does that by helping the patient understand what is changing, bring daily and medical information together and see patterns that are hard to spot day to day.
Mirae's Pre-Visit feature, in the Mirae app or on the web, creates a focused appointment agenda and health summary, bringing patient priorities together with markers and disease-activity measures such as the Simple Clinical Colitis Activity Index (SCCAI) or Harvey-Bradshaw Index (HBI). You can review it, save it as a PDF and share it with your clinician. Mirae does not automatically send information to a gastroenterologist or connect clinicians through a separate app.

Where My IBD Care fits
My IBD Care tracks symptoms, medicines, bowel movements, mood, sleep, stress, activity and appointments. Its courses cover subjects such as medicines, sleep, mental wellbeing, physical activity and daily life with IBD.
ElenaAI provides non-medical explanations, pattern support and appointment preparation using information entered into the app, including a shareable appointment summary. It is an optional paid feature; trial and final pricing are shown in the app.
The strongest distinction is its UK hospital pathway. My IBD Care was co-created with NHS clinicians and patients, including two London hospitals. At signed-up hospitals, flare reports can be sent to the hospital team.
UK integration changes the choice
Check whether your hospital participates before choosing My IBD Care for connected clinical care. Ampersand says flare reports are generally answered in one to two days or in line with the hospital helpline's response time. This is not real-time monitoring or an emergency service, and response times vary.
Outside a participating NHS pathway, My IBD Care remains an IBD tracker, course library and AI guide. The app is available internationally, while the exact store, language and feature availability may differ by country.
