If you use Mirae in the US, you can choose to connect available medical records through HealthEx. These records can add context to the symptoms, medicines and daily life you record in Mirae. The connection is optional, and it may not provide a complete or automatically up-to-date medical history.
Connect your records
- During setup, choose to connect your records. To do it later, open Profile → Health Records and select Connect Health Records.
- In HealthEx, sign in or create an account, find your providers and review the request to share records. HealthEx may offer identity verification to help locate records, or you can connect providers manually.
- Return to Mirae and check the connection status in your profile.
Records may take a few minutes to become available. If a provider or result is missing, that does not mean it never existed. HealthEx's connection guide explains how to look for additional providers and refresh records after new care. If Mirae says the connection needs attention, select Reconnect to HealthEx in your profile.
What the connection provides
HealthEx helps you find records held by participating healthcare providers and decide which tools can access them. Depending on what is available, those records may include conditions, medicines, allergies, test results and past visits. The records available to each person will vary.
Mirae can use the information you approve alongside what you tell it about symptoms, medicines and daily life. For example, a recent lab result might help you frame a question about a change you have noticed. It cannot, by itself, explain that change or tell you to alter treatment.
Check the records before relying on them
Mirae can refer to available outside records when they are relevant to a conversation or summary. A medicine history or lab result beside your symptom timeline may help you prepare for an appointment. Your entries in Mirae and your provider's records remain different sources.
Connected records can be incomplete, delayed or temporarily unavailable. Check the original report and its date before relying on a result, and ask your care team to interpret it in your clinical context. Mirae does not diagnose a flare, interpret a test as medical advice, prescribe, or send your information to a clinician automatically.
Disconnect or change access
You can skip the connection or disconnect it in Profile → Health Records. Disconnecting stops Mirae from accessing your HealthEx records; it does not close your separate HealthEx account. HealthEx also provides controls for reviewing and withdrawing access. For how Mirae handles information already received, including your privacy choices, read Mirae's Privacy Policy.
